Maija Louekari's Kukat puhkeavat (flowers bloom) pattern explores flowers from a grassroots level, depicting the special moment when buds burst into bloom. The pattern's line-drawn surface also creates a striped effect, which, when seen on a large scale, offers serenity. For a moment, everything is beautiful – but so fleeting.
